I had been dealing with a knee injury and couldn't run more than 4km without significant pain. I went to see several Physiotherapists with no improvement before finally finding Erica and Christine. Erica took a far more thorough approach than any of the other practitioners and quickly (in one 45 min session) got to the root of my injury. I was back running within 2 sessions and within 10 weeks was able to complete a 100km ultramarathon. I had completely lost hope for the running season before seeing Erica but she was able to solve my issues far faster than I thought was possible!

As a high performance athlete, who better to treat your aches, pains, imbalances and strains than another high performance athlete? Christine is that person! Christine's first-hand experience as a top-level athlete is combined with an exceptional knowledge of the body and its mechanics, and the power of massage to heal and correct. Top that off with a welcoming and upbeat personality, and every visit is a pleasure. I am absolutely confident that Christine’s massages and support played a major part in my journey to the podium.

After trying many massage therapists I finally found one that really works for me. Christine Leslie at enduraHEALTH has an amazing ability to find and help solve my running quirks and keep me healthy so I can continue to train hard.
The deep tissue sports massage is no picnic, you walk away feeling like a jellyfish but she gets the job done. Christine's knowledge is key to getting you back on your feet as soon as possible. I am so thankful to have found Christine's practice, she was the missing link in my training routine!

"I have been a client of Christine's for almost two years now since running my first marathon and with her skills and guidance as a therapist I have successfully progressed to becoming an ultra runner. Christine's knowledge and expertise of massage therapy as well as her experience as an Ironman athlete have helped keep me healthy and kept me competing. I would highly recommend Christine to anyone needing help or looking to stay healthy."

I met Christine several years ago at a post race massage opportunity. I had just completed a duathlon and the short but effective massage was excellent. I was also impressed with Christine's knowledge and how she related to multi-sport activities.
Now several years later I continue to enjoy both the effectiveness of her skills and the great conversations we have. As an older runner and triathlete, it is hard to find a massage therapist with similar interests and knowledge of the sport. Not only the massage but also the suggestions, comments and recommendations are what sets Christine apart from other massage therapists. I am also delighted to hear she is expanding her practice and I highly recommend enduraHEALTH services.

“I started receiving massage therapy from Christine in March 2009. I was just beginning training for my first triathlon and my Achilles flared up. Christine was able to help me work through the injury with minimal impact on my training. I immediately found Christine to be an excellent massage therapist. She is very professional, has excellent anatomical knowledge and her technique is the best I have experienced. She intuitively knows just how deep to go and combined with her ART training she is very effective. She is also very personable, kind, friendly, and easy to talk to.
I have since utilized Christine in my training and recovery programs through seven seasons of triathlon including recently completely my first full Ironman. Christine has been instrumental in helping me achieve my athletic goals.
Having a massage therapist who trains and competes is very important to me as I know she not only understands the physical aspect of what I do, she also understands how endurance athletes think and she knows how important it is to be able to keep training. I highly recommend Christine!”

“I am multisport athlete – literally. I jump out of planes competitively (4-way formation skydiving), race in Ironman triathlons and winter biathlons. This past year was unusually and particularly challenging. I prepared for skydiving Provincial and National Championships as well as Ironman Canada all occurring within two months of each other. You can well imagine the duress (and abuse) imposed on my body. Nonetheless it all worked out in the end with a gold and silver medal at the skydiving events and a successful Ironman finish in brutally hot conditions. Quality recovery and immediate attention to the slightest physiological cues was essential to sustain such a demanding year-long training regime. Christine was an essential part of this. As an Ironman athlete and a sport injury specialist herself, Christine understands and can relate to high-end sport induced aches and pains and in turn delivers appropriately tailored treatments that actually produce results.
As my training load increased particularly in the latter stages of my preparation I began to develop ITB issues, more pronounced plantar fasciitis issues, calf muscle issues, lower back tightness, you name it. Christine was always there to help sort me out. There were occasions when she accommodated me without hesitation outside of her normal work hours – once even “ordering” me in to her clinic – to promptly tackle the slightest acute problem that suddenly surfaced and that could potentially have impeded my next training sessions. This level of dedication and genuine care kept me injury free right through to Ironman. I also own an on-line triathlon coaching company and as such I want my brand to be associated with excellence. enduraHEALTH is part of my extended support team (EST). I urge anyone serious about their athletic training to make it part of theirs. Thanks Christine for all your hard work and never giving up on this shipwreck!”

“Christine has been my RMT through four Ironman triathlons. She effectively uses her massage skills to prevent and heal injuries and her knowledge of personal training to build programs for prevention and rehabilitation. She is a great listener and is easy to talk with. I could not have met my goals without her guidance.”

“Christine’s skillful and attentive body work helped me get to the Ironman start line injury-free. She is, by far, one of the best massage therapists in Calgary, in treating athletes and sports-related injuries.”

“I thoroughly enjoy Christine’s workouts, she provides me with a variety of exercise to keep me entertained so I don’t lose focus, I work hard but I don’t have to invest hours of my day and the best part is I noticed a difference in the way I felt and looked shortly after starting.
Christine is extremely motivational and positive all the while pushing you to go bigger and get better. No matter what your goal she can help you get there and surpass it!”

“Christine created a personal training plan for me in the hopes of furthering my mountain biking abilities. The plan she devised for me had a few major differences than anything I’d done in the past. Most of the exercises were floor based using isometrics, Bosu balls, exercise balls, and banding, which helped speed up the workouts dramatically There was more emphasis on my core as opposed to any exercise regimen I had done before and adding in circuit training to keep my heart rate elevated during the workout helped tremendously with my cardiovascular abilities. I am now in the third month of the program and the results are amazing. The strength increase in my core and legs is dramatic and my aerobic capacity is increasing every day.
The difference in this program compared to previous experiences is that Christine took the time to zero in on not only my goals but also my likes and dislikes. She must have asked 300 questions at first and then continued to check back in with me and modify the program as time went on. She was very focused on the fact that the program was effective but that I liked doing it. I can now ride some of those hills on my mountain bike that I used to have to walk up. Thanks Christine!”
